1. Why is CDRH providing the CDRH Learn Web site?

This new online training tool is part of CDRH’s effort to provide multiple user-friendly methods to educate industry about the FDA regulation of medical devices and radiation emitting products.  This online training tool will also expand our educational efforts to stakeholders worldwide, while providing a consistent learning format that will be available at the stakeholders’ convenience.

2. Will there be a test option available for the online courses?

Yes.  CDRH is in the process of developing post tests for each online course to determine the effectiveness of the information.  The tests will be posted as soon as they are available.

3. Can I use information from the CDRH Learn presentations?

Yes.  The public can use information on this website freely.  Use of this information on other websites or in publications should be properly cited.

4. How much does it cost to view the CDRH Learn presentations?

No fee will be charged for either viewing the presentations or completing the post-test exams.  CDRH Learn is a free service provided by FDA/CDRH.

5. How often will the CDRH Learn Web site be updated?

The on-line courses will be reviewed for accuracy and updated every 6 months and as new courses become available.

6. Who are the presenters of the CDRH Learn presentations?

Each on-line presentation is developed and presented by experienced regulatory professionals employed by the FDA.  A speaker biography will be posted for each presentation.

7. Whom can I contact if I have additional questions about CDRH Learn or suggestions for future topics?
